About Me

Ever since I was very young, around third grade, I have been drawn to portrait photography. I would go outside with my friends in the neighborhood, tell them what to wear and pose them, and use my little flip camera phone to take photos of them. In 2017, when I myself was a senior in high school, I bought a camera and started taking portraits again for fun. One of my friends asked to hire me to take her senior photos, and OF COURSE the answer was yes! This reignited my passion for portrait photography, and kicked off my journey with Stasia Alexandra Photography.

After graduating high school, I earned my bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies, immediately followed by my Juris Doctor from Stetson College of Law. 2024 was a big year for me. I graduated from law school ranked 15th in my class of almost 300 in May, took and passed the Florida Bar Examination in July, and had my first baby in October! While I was pursuing both of my degrees, I continued to take on photography jobs of all kinds as my side hustle and teach myself how to better utilize my camera, find my editing style, direct and pose, and overall how to best serve my clients. With years of putting in plenty of love and care into Stasia Alexandra Photography and serving hundreds of clients, it blossomed to something far bigger than a side hustle, and after graduating law school and completing the bar exam, I was able to dedicate myself full time to serving my photography clients for the 2024-2025 school year.

This upcoming school year, celebrating the Class of 2026, marks my TENTH school year photographing seniors!!! That feels crazy to say, and I am truly so grateful that so many seniors and parents have trusted and continue to trust me to photograph such a special, once-in-a-lifetime season for them. I have found so much joy and purpose in bringing out the best in my clients in their photos, and forming a connection with them beyond just being someone they hired to take their photo. I have worked with hundreds of seniors, including many who love being in front of the camera and, on the other hand, plenty whose parents warned me hate photos, and it is so rewarding to share that I consistently hear from parents of both types of seniors that their child felt comfortable with me, was able to relax, and had so much fun at their session. If you are looking for someone experienced who can provide you with a stress-free, high-quality, FUN experience to celebrate your baby’s senior year, I am your girl!

To get in touch with me, you can fill out a photo session inquiry form on the “Contact Me” page. I will be in touch with you soon, and I can’t wait to work with you! – Stasia (in case you’re wondering, it’s pronounced like Sasha with a T thrown in the middle)
